When and where is Sensation Australia 2017?

Sensation Australia will be held at Spotless Stadium in Sydney on the 25th November 2017.

Do I need to dress in white?

Yes! In line with other Sensation events around the world, we will be enforcing a strict ALL WHITE dress code.

The following will be acceptable:
– white shirts/dresses with small prints of another colour
– accessories of another colour
– shoes of another colour
– maximum of 20% of your outfit in another colour

When it comes to choosing your outfit for Sensation, remember that WHITE = WHITE! If you’re in doubt about whether something is in line with the dress code, pick something else. Please note that if you’re not dressed in white, you will not be admitted to the event, even with a valid ticket.

Is this an all ages event?

No, it is an 18+ event. Proof of Age Identification will be required for entry into the event.

What are the accepted forms of identification?

Valid/current photo ID is required in one of the following formats:

– Passport
– Drivers Licence displaying photo and date of birth
– RTA Photo Card displaying photo and date of birth

Are there pass outs?

No, pass outs will not be available for the event. Once you leave the event, you will not be allowed back in.

What is the best way to get to the event?

We recommend that you catch public transport to Sensation. The venue is accessible by train, bus and ferry services. More information regarding transport and parking will be released closer to the event date.

Will there be police at the event?

Yes. We work closely with Police to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all. Any drug activity, antisocial behaviour and general public safety issues will be monitored and managed closely by event staff, security and police.

Will my bags be searched at the event?

Yes, bag checks will be carried out on entry to the event.

What is Sensation’s drug policy?

Sensation Australia has a no tolerance policy regarding the use of illicit substances. Police sniffer dogs will be present at the event, so to ensure you don’t miss out on any of the fun, don’t bring anything illegal.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No BYO alcohol is permitted. Security will be checking all bags and containers at the entrance, and any alcohol found will be confiscated.

Can I smoke at the event?

Yes, smoking will be permitted within designated smoking areas only. Smoking is at your own risk and you are expected to abide by health laws pertaining to smoking.

What do I need to bring to the event?

Apart from being dressed in white, make sure you’ve got your ticket, photo ID and good vibes!

We also recommend that you bring your phone to keep in touch with friends and take photos at the event, plus a hat to protect you from a long day in the sun.

Is there anything I shouldn’t bring to the event?

Yes – please see below for the list of prohibited items for Sensation Australia 2017:

– Drugs or illegal substances
– Alcoholic beverages
– Markers, pens or spray paint
– Large purses, bags or backpacks (over 30cm x 30cm)
– Professional photo, video or audio equipment (professional cameras are defined by having a detachable lens)
– Pets, unless prior approval from the venue has been granted for an assistance animal
– Commercial food
– Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades or bicycles
– Items or clothing displaying political or offensive signage
– Laser pointers
– Masks
– Glass, metal or breakable containers
– Flares, fireworks, smoke bombs or any other explosive device

I need to bring my medication with me, how do I do this?

If you need to bring in prescription or over-the-counter medication, you will need to make sure it is clearly labelled and in its original packaging.  Please be aware that security may ask Sensation’s medical team to check-in your medication with medics upon arrival and for administering your medication. If you’re unsure, or have any questions, get in touch with us.

Can I bring my camera with me?

You are allowed to bring mobile phones and personal digital cameras so that you can capture every moment of Sensation. Professional photo and video cameras (defined by a detachable lens), sound recording equipment and professional lighting and tripod set-ups are not permitted at Sensation without written authority from the Promoters.

What happens if it rains?

Sensation Australia will go ahead rain or shine.

The festival is outdoors, so if it looks like it’s going to rain feel free to pack your poncho, but please leave umbrellas at home.

TICKETING FAQ

Where can I buy Sensation tickets?

Can I get a refund for my ticket?

Tickets to Sensation are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled a refund will be processed, and we will contact you with instructions if this happens.

I can’t go to Sensation anymore - can I sell my ticket?

If you are no longer able to attend the event, you are more than welcome to give your ticket to a friend. If you purchased your ticket online, you will need to ensure you update the name on the ticket so your friend can get in on the day.

 

Apart from giving the ticket away to a mate, Sensation tickets may not be re-sold as a commercial transaction under any circumstance. The Promoters reserve the right to void any tickets without compensation in the original purchaser has sold them. The new ticket holder may be refused entry, or be evicted from the venue. This measure, although extreme, is to combat scalpers and protect you as a consumer.

Should I buy a Sensation ticket on another site such as ViaGoGo, eBay or Gumtree?

We strongly discourage you from purchasing your ticket from an unauthorised reseller such as Viagogo, eBay or Gumtree. Sensation cannot guarantee your entry into the event with a ticket purchased via one of these channels.

Help, I lost my hardcopy ticket!

Unfortunately hardcopy tickets cannot be reissued. Treat your ticket like cash – if you lose it, it’s gone forever.
